The RP weather is now Fall!!! Things are getting a little chilly out there so bundle up. Nights can be bitter, but some of those sunny days are a little warming.
Current Plot Summary - NOT A COMPLETE PLOT SUBSTITUTE! The once fair city now lies within ruin. Marvelous buildings now crumble with misuse, constant battle, and lack of upkeep. The wolf pack has separated, Strike still holding his keep of the mall, he aims to hold a tolerance with the humans accepting and giving aid where needed. Davis controls the other half in the Outskirts in an old mine. There he hopes to prepare and take care of the Angels that are invading their world. Humans have assembled under the care of Brick’s building, Haven, and under the protection of Oriana. Vampires have been overtaken by the Angels, turned to slaves. Will this tolerance the humans and wolves share work out in the end? Will vampires ever be free again? Who will the Angels attempt to take over next? Come just us and help us figure out this conclusion.

WVRP began in the year 2004 on April 13th. It was started by a bored 14 year old, two days before their birthday, looking for a little fun. While watching the movie Underworld, the creator decided they wanted to create their own RP site, based on the movie, instead of playing on others’. http://wvrp.proboards.com is the very first site where it all started. The rules were thin, barely existing. Originally, it was played on by select few, personal friends of the creator, the site altered from the basic Underworld but kept the theme. Until one day it was found and a flow of new members came in. Everyone on the site had little to no experience in writing or roleplaying. The new motto of the site was to learn from one another and enhance their abilities. It was a beginner site aimed at advancing members who wanted it.
For a year, the first site was in working order until finally came the day when there were enough members that the original site was beyond repair. WVRP moved to this current address, offering anyone from the first site to come and join. Since March of 2005, this site has remained. Activity became a wave, some seasons better than others. There were days activity would be near 80% and other days it would be barely 5%. Through time, the members stuck true and loyal, enhancing their abilities, always welcoming new members to come and learn. Since the middle of the year 2008, activity remained steady to at least 60%. Almost every member was becoming advanced and reaching the peak of their writing skills.
Now in August of 2009, the site is 5 years old, well known throughout the Proboards Community and one of the few, well aged, active RP sites around run by three Administrators. Plots keep flowing in and we aim to push for another year. So far it seems likely. WVRP has also, unfortunately, become an Advanced site for writers. It still welcomes beginners by all means, but only those willing to rise up to the higher ranks. Little to no skill is most certainly accepted, but such members must be ok with a push from fellow members to raise their skill.
WVRP is an original roleplay based on a mix of views from all sorts of mythology.
**Percentages are rough estimates, not exact statistics.
1.) No spamming. This means more than 5 messages in a row.
2.) No advertising unless it is WVRP related.
3.) No arguing. Save for PM. Warnings will be made on accounts if people complain about any person.
4.) Cbox does have discussions and debates. If you don't like it leave.
5.) If someone says back off or asks you to stop something. RESPECT. 6.) Keep chat/short speak LIMITED
7.) Reenactment of sexual content is not allowed in C-Box
New Rule: Cbox now forces posters to be registered. Only one account is permitted per person. We will constantly be checking on accounts and making sure people are behaving.
If someone does something against the rules or is being rude or disrespectful and an administrator is not on or available, copy what is said and send it to an administrator via PM.
