-*Humans & Superhumans*-
Humans are self-explanatory. Superhuman abilities below:
- Nearly possess the same speed/agility as Immortals.
- Perfect 20/20 vision. Minor night vision.
- Stronger bone structure, capable of almost as much damage as an Immortal.
- Faster healing. Almost as quick as Immortal healing.
- Heightened strength that is almost the equivalent to Immortals.
- Cannot get sick from common human illnesses or disease. Though can still be carriers of it.
- Were created as test subjects for the military, released shortly after the collapse of society.
- Age slower than normal humans. Maximum age expectancy is 150-200 years.
-*Goldenbloods*-
Please view this thread for more details.
-*Vampires*-
- Heightened abilities of strength, smell, agility and speed for a short period of time, and far better eyesight.
- Capable of rapid healing (broken bones heal within days).
- Able to see in darkness though the darker the harder. Also capable of long distance sight.
- Very good hearing.
- Will cast reflections.
- Capable of forcing muscles around heart to move, creating illusion of living.
- Blood lust. Human blood is most nutritious. Constant hunger and drive to feed, though the longer they go without blood, the more intense the lust.
- Some feel guilt toward feeding off of humans and this can sometimes delay their blood lust.
- Only Elder Vampires are capable of mind reading and telepathy. Permission required.
- Can change humans into Vampire by feeding from humans to brink of death, then sharing their own blood with the human.
- Can die via decapitation, exposure to sunlight, extreme bodily damage and lack of feeding.
--Decapitation includes severing the spinal cord completely and/or the brainstem.
-- Exposure to sunlight results in the first layer of skin burning up in a matter of seconds. Then the organs liquefy inside the body, then closely following, the remainder of the body burns up. Sometimes resulting in a bloody mess or a pile of ash. Results vary.
--Extreme bodily damage can occur when nearly the entirety of the body is mutilated and their rapid healing has not had time to begin its process.
--Lack of feeding leads to weakening, then loss of motor ability, and lastly they wither into a dehydrated corpse with no fat or muscle. Older vampires can sometimes survive this and “sleep” in this form. But only for so long. (1000+ years old)
---***Blood Bond: When a Vampire gives their blood to a healthy human via the mouth or an open wound. Humans are then connected to the Vampire so the Vampire can tell where the human is and influence the human vocally (key word influence).
--Blood bond needs to be maintained at least once a week to remain.
--Human still has complete free will but feels the pull of the Vampire. They will also feel the need to feed from the Vampire on a regular basis.
--The longer the bond exists, the more he human feels needy and attached to their Vampire, almost lovingly.
--Humans receive no extra abilities by a Blood Bond.
--If the Vampire dies, the bond is closed and the last effects on the human vary to anything.
-*Werewolves*-
- Ability of rapid healing (broken bones heal within day).
- Extremely heightened sense of smell, even a little stronger than Vampires.
- Extraordinary hearing.
- Sharp vision even at night. The darker the more difficult.
- Capable of heightened speed and agility. Bodies designed to run for long periods of time.
- Can be born a Werewolf by at least one parent having the ability, or by being turned.
- A Werewolf only needs to bite a human and successfully integrate their saliva into the human’s blood stream. Or, introduce their blood into a human via mouth, a wound, or any access to the blood stream.
- Turned Werewolves change at first full moon. Born Werewolves vary in age at first transformation.
- Prior to transforming, Werewolves can feel edgy and moody. Older Werewolves with experience can work past this.
- Werewolves feel a loyalty to being part of a pack. They obtain a sense of loss of identity without one. It is stronger in some more than others.
- Three types of transformations. Human, wolf, and hybrid. Transformations are also very painful but come quicker to much more experienced Werewolves.
--Wolf form allows them the form of a regular wolf, Grey wolf size.
--The hybrid form is a combination of wolf and human. The creature may stand on two legs and has two arms. Fur covers the body, sometimes in patches and they are characterized with an elongated muzzle and ears. This form is perfected after years of experience. Beforehand, it can be quite ugly. - A Werewolf can be killed via decapitation, extreme bodily damage, and complete exposure to Silver.
--Extreme bodily damage can occur when nearly the entirety of the body is mutilated and their rapid healing has not had time to begin its process.
--Werewolves are highly allergic to pure Silver and if it enters the bloodstream, it is a sure death. They can also be stabbed in the heart by it for a quicker process.
Brief Werewolf Definitions----
Alpha: Alpha is the highest position of a single pack or territory. It is the top wolf that proves they are the most strongest and cunning of that pack. The position can be held by one male and one female, either at the same time or separately. EX: One male alpha, no female alpha. Or vice versa. Or a male and female alpha. If one of each gender controls, they are a mated pair, otherwise it does not happen.
Beta: A second in command in the pack of the Alpha. This position is generally by the next well trusted wolf. They are seen as a general of sorts. This position is also known as the ‘babysitter’ position amongst regular wolf packs. The same gendering applies as it does for the alpha.
Pack Mate: Pack mates are the mass of the pack, what makes it the family unit it is known for. Without pack mates, the alpha has no one to protect or lead and has no way to maintain territory. Pack mates work together to maintain their living space. They also hunt together and help one another for their high social needs.
Pup: A real young youth. A wolf still in the early years of their life, not quite knowledgeable of their life just yet.
Omega: Omega is a position that most packs have. It is a wolf that is not seen as lesser, but is a scapegoat of sorts. A wolf where the pack can take out its aggressions. Omegas are just as well loved as the rest of the pack though and usually are a wolf that allows themselves to be subjected to this position.
Loner: A wolf that takes care of themselves without the use of a pack. This is a dangerous position since they do not have the added protection. Plus it diminishes the wolf’s high social needs. This position also shortens the life of a wolf, no wolf is capable of living out their fullest as a loner unless they are (in werewolf ways) an alpha of sorts. Permission required.
Submissive: A wolf that acts ‘lower’ than another wolf, weaker, lesser. Used when a wolf recognizes another is stronger and more powerful.
Dominate: A wolf that pushes its strength and reigns ‘higher’ than the other wolves. Not always an active trait, but when tested, some wolves prove to be practically a rock.
-*Angels*-
- A race of creature that only resembles that of the story Angel.
- Possess wings that are capable flying and are covered by feathers.
--Color matches their hair color. Genetics for the color white do not exist.
--Do not normally fly for they view it as a weakness. - Despite the bulk of their wings, are very stealthy and silent.
- Humanoid in appearance. Typically tall and broad.
- Same strength and sight abilities as Werewolves and Vampires.
- Hold a Sixth sense that enables them to sense auras of others.
- Generally led by an appointed General for they are a warrior race.
- Usually reserved of most emotion such as anger, sorrow, and love.
