Ginger shocked at this man's outrage picked her next few words as carefully as she could. She herself stood up and put her hands on the table. "First of all, my name is Ginger, not Miss Bounty Hunter. I'm sorry, Gremnor, but when you are a teenager and you are still growing and learning things, it is hard to concentrate on morals when so many are thrown at you from every direction: parents, teachers, friends, employers, and parents especially. Do you think that I wanted to become this abomination of a life form? No. But I deal with it anyways. I forgive those who have crossed me and forget. I move on. Life is much happier without worrying about past events. I agree that yes, what these people did to you was horrible and immoral, but don't you agree that you are happy that you didn't end up like one of the others? You are still intelligent, can control yourself, and you have a brain that thinks. You are clever, you know that?" Ginger took a deep breath and continued hoping Gremnor would be placated or at least try not to kill her. "Your people are not "monsters". sympathy is something that we vampires don't have a lot of as since we don't get any sympathy ourselves, why should we give it to others? I just explained a lot of my personal life to you just now. I trust you to think that maybe I didn't intend to hurt you or make any offense towards your people. Like I said before, I have never met one of you before. Hell, I've met only one werewolf ever and he didn't take to kindly to our random meeting. I'm not very sociable as you may have noticed. I appear, do my job, and disappear. Not a lot of time there to socialize. Werebeast is the term we call your people as we are called vampires. If you don't like it, I'm sure you can call yourself something else. I will even call you by that name if you truly wish. And again, I am sorry if I offended you." She sits down and stares out the window at the moon looking at it for comfort. She crosses her arms and looks at Gremnor and says quietly, "And by the way, it was a he." She continued to stare out at the moon and hoped she didn't ruin everything again.
