Jaggard landed next to her and the super didn’t even spook. The fact she hadn’t been expecting it didn’t matter. He stood and looked around just as she had been doing since her own flight from the roof of the building. Could never be too on guard when hunting things, especially outsiders. When he said it was more gory then he liked Blaze simply gave him a shrug. She couldn’t reach the heart from the way she had gone down and the head is just as easy a target if one knew what they were doing. Granted at this point she wanted her gun, made things so much easier then the machete or the knife. She stood there and watched as he dragged the body away finding that pointless but of course the latina didn’t voice her opinion. When he creeped back and went to the entrance Blaze followed after not making much sound without actually trying. She just walked across the snow, helped being small and light. “History lesson?” she was able to say before it started. All the while he talked she listened though made sure to give him a fake yawn about half way through. She kept her eyes on the door that he glanced back to now and again just to make sure that nothing was coming in on his back. She was still holding the knife in her hand and almost thought to give it back but it was currently the weapon she had.
Thinking about what he said she raised her hand just before stepping into the building. “Well shit if they get brains how much trouble will we be in?” Blaze gave a light laugh showing it was a joke and yet at the same time it made her wonder how much trouble they would be in if the outsiders became organized. It could make them all come into the city and attack everyone. It didn’t take much to get infected sometimes from what she understood. After anther check Jag ducked into the building. The small super sighed and followed in after him. Not bothering to duck, she was short enough as it was. Every corner they came to she flattened herself to the wall and watched as he looked around each. It was slow and rather boring. She was more the whole rush in and fight type person but he was a soldier no reason to try and break him of his habits for her reckless ones. Finally at one he held a hand up and she knew once again that meant to stop. What she didn’t expect was him to motion for her to take point. Going to the corner she glanced around and saw the two outsiders. They were by far the ugliest things the small woman had ever seen. Chocolate colored eyes took them in, analyzing them and then when she felt his breath on her ear she had to stop the reflex of turning, yes that would have been awkward to say the least.
But when he spoke and she processed the words she couldn’t help but turn so that her voice wouldn’t carry down the hall to the creatures. Turning her head they faces were just a tad bit to close. She put a hand on his chest and pushed just a bit to get a bit more space while the blood threatened to rush into her cheeks, thankfully she didn’t blush that easy. “Never done a dual one before.” She said keeping her voice a low whisper. “Alright so let me get this straight.” Blaze said and took her hand back. “I run up you follow I kill the first and you take the second?” she turned back just in time to feel his chest press into her back so they could both look around the corner, now that was awkward, had a good solid chest though. When he said he was ready when she was she ever so lightly elbowed him in the lower ribs. “Gotta get off me first tiger.” She teased and then flipped the knife in her hand so that the blade was lining against her arm. Was a fun way to stab people. Once he moved back though Blaze spun around the corner and took off at her full sprint down the hall. The distance closed quickly as the lithe body traveled and the latina got in close. Her hand with the blade went in front of her and turned the blade out so that as she slammed her foot down the boot slid on the ground and she slid under the outsider and slammed the blade expertly between the ribs and pierced his heart. Just because she didn’t carry the damned things didn’t mean she didn’t know how to use a blade. Just preferred killing from a distance if she could manage it.
