The old metal creaked with the gust of wind. Fall was coming and coming fast. The warm nights gave way to rather cool nights were one did not want to be outside for it. The air was bitter and the winds were becoming relentless. Soon enough there would be snow on the ground and those without protection would find themselves in a harsh predicament.
The she-wolf regretted going out of the mall so late. She had gone hunting and now on her way back the weather had turn a little harsh. The long dark sweater, leggings and boots would keep her warm, no problem for the werewolf. However, it would slow her down a little getting back to the mall.
Browns could barely make out the surroundings of the power plant. No light was coming from the moon and stars; it was all sheltered by the overpowering clouds. Fate outlines could be caught by her sharp vision, but that was it. The details were failed to be caught in her brown orbs. Legs lithely moved across the floor, once she got through the building she would almost be there.
Mikaela had made it to the center of the power plant. Muscles stiff. Ears waited for a noise, any noise. Shallow breaths exited her lips from her increased heartbeat. She-wolf was under slight stress not knowing what was around her. She would have to rely mostly on her nose and ears if something decided it was smart to jump a werewolf.
There it was, the noise of something hitting the metal of the power plant structure. She whipped around searching for the source. A growl vibrated within her throat defensively. For a moment, the clouds broke. Silver light soaked the floor through the openings in the ceiling. She was blinded for a moment, before the silver light was captured by the clouds above. Mikaela’s eyes darted around, even though she couldn’t see anything. Another growl escaped her throat as she began to ease herself back on her path out of the power plant.
