[This is a plot moving thread and all humans should be active in it. There is no need to be legthy since its a plot mover. However I expect you to post in time and mind the order. After Oriana makes her point feel free to continue if you wish. ]
It was time. She has arrived the previous morning after almost month of recovery. Oriana stood looking down at the weapons in her room carefully put away, each finding its place from long ago. Immediately upon arrival she sent out an order for a gathering in Haven main hall. There were a couple of manners to use in order to inform humans residing in the city. The benefit of having an average power source in the depths of this fortress provided far more than artificial light. There was a station placed on the first underground level, simple technology that allowed them to emit and receive radio signals though limited to a radius that stretched encompassing the city and area of few miles farther. However that was enough to make communication easier. Each soldier going on patrol could report back or ask for back-up instantly but that wasn’t all. On certain frequency known to humans there would be a signal issued if there was an emergency set of tones to sign different messages. Short and effective. In this case it was a signal for urgent gathering. That wasn’t all… in the patrols were sent to SM points [subway meeting] where humans once hided. In assigned locations they would leave messages to be carried on among the population. Humans had a choice on whether they do or do not stay in the fortress but none where foolish enough to refuse assistance, protection or contact
It has been 24hours since she sent out the supers to call for the meeting, the signal being emitted for just as long. She threw a look at the sheathed katana on the wall, blade resting in the scabbard silently. Fingers that played with the amulet around her neck now reached for Moonlight, gently crossing the sword until grasping hilt. Oriana took the katana and attached it to the belt where it was meant to be for it was that item that was one with her just as the medallion. It was this that identified her as Murasaki, the Captain of RedMoon. Tenderly she placed her hand on the hilt and walked into the hall closing the door behind. Striding to the great gathering hall she thought of the first meeting of humans and wondered… So much time there was bad blood between immortals and mortals and inevitably it was that separation that cost them freedom and threatened with rise of the new Angel threat. It was time to decide whether future will be formed by them or conquered by winged warriors, whether they will insure a free life for future generations or condemn them to life of slaves. She to the railing that overlooked the growing crowd… All or nothing, time came to decide.
