Chapter 1; WVRP-
Dawn of man brought with it many stories through the ages. Human kind has created creatures and beasts to explain the horrors of the unknown through their entire existence. Stories and Legends have been told, passing from generation to generation. Some have corrupted into fables, beyond their foundations. Others, not so far from truth. There are some creatures that do bump in the night, hunting our families. And there are some that disguise amongst the most common of animals in our world.
And they are at war.
Since before the beginning of man on Earth, when magic and lore reigned the Earth, humans have possessed great ability to learn and adapt. In their earliest of years, they had been visited by a foreign creature. This creature looked like them, even learned to talk like them, but it was not human. It came from another world, a dimension adjacent to our own. Kragarians walked amongst us briefly, several survivors to their own tradgedy, only to offer their secrets on their dying breaths. As their final hours approached, they gave to humans the gift of Werewolf, not realizing a various in their breed already introduced vampirisim to humans. In their own world, these two races, though different there, were also in conflict. The conflict continued on through the humans, spreading throughout the ages.
Only two Kragarians remained, unscathed by the disease to take their brethren. Iris, a female that took charge over her Vampiric cousins. And Strike, a male that guarded his Wolven kin. The two once shared a love that had gone sour all too quickly as Iris was forced into her Vampiric state. But that is another story for another time. Through the years, the two races fought secretly throughout the world. Soon though, the word of their origins was lost and many forgot the story of creation for their kind. The modern world came all too quickly and provided many new opportunities for the warring creatures.
Chapter 2; The New Age-
The modern world had become smarter, quicker. With this knowledge, Immortals know they must blend in better. Iris and Strike called coexistence, knowing fighting is too difficult as they try to hide. For some, this works. Others, it didn’t. Soon, the same disease to sweep away the Kragarians also takes Iris’ life. Another, Rayne, is quick to recover the position of Coven leader, ensuring the Vampiric kind continue on.
Shortly, a new creature enters the city limits. Wendigos. These creatures were nasty abominations of beasts. They strived for immortal blood and meat. Vampires and Werewolves once more work together to contain the creatures, for fear of what it could mean for them. Rayne goes missing in action and Gage is quick to rise. However, he too shortly disappears, causing alarm and rumor of a curse amongst Vampires.
For years, only few humans learned of their secrets and those few banned together and shared an oath to hunt the beasts down. The modern age only spread that hatred further, more learning of their existence. Now they cornered the main Coven and Pack in this very city. Their advances made it difficult for the immortals to hide as they also were fighting Wendigos at this time. More and more they were forced to the surface to blend in with the human race. With this newfound knowledge for humans, word began to spread. The government begins to move in, abducting immortals for experiments. Even British forces enter American soil for the war, their force taking out the Vampire Headquarters and beginning The Great Battle, the end to the Great War between human and immortal.
Chapter 3; Requiem-
The Great War was brief, but costly. It ended in treaty between all races, including human. The United Nations had called for the truce, Strike being the last Immortal leader on the field, agreed to the terms. After 17 years, Immortals become integrated into society and two new races were introduced to the world. Werebeasts and Superhumans. Werebeasts became the result of testing of immortal DNA, primarily werewolf and reptile, creating creatures stuck between the two worlds. Superhumans were a result of testing between humans, werewolves, and vampires. Their existence introduced via rapid growth or injection of a serum. Once perfected, this serum became available to the public, allowing those who wanted it, to have it.
A council was created, all races having presence. Each kind had several to represent them. For many years they lived as this, slowly integrating into the political world. It seems all at once chaos and mayhem curse the world. Not long after, the world begins to change, physically. After thousands and thousands of years, the wall between worlds broke once more. This time, it lead to catastrophe. It began with losing electricity. Then earthquakes and other natural disasters. But as the years passed, Wendigos had evolved into something else through testing and mutation. The birth of Outsiders was quick and fierce. Their kind strong and horrifying. They began a reign of terror. At this time, a new human joins the city of military status and aids in the creation of Haven, a sanctuary for humans, as the city begins to decline. The treaty had begun to break under influence of Greggory Smith. Political battles swiftly brought the break.
The world of Kragarians has returned, but this time, it does not close back up. Two worlds collide and create something new and extraordinary. A merger of dimensions offers new territory and land as well as ruin and collapse of the old. It also introduced two new beings. Elementals and Angels. Elementals enter as kindly, wise folk who have embraced nature at her fullest. They do not last long however as Angels make their intensions clear. A war harboring race of creature that shows no mercy. In appearance, they resemble that of the Angels of God, but prove to be demons and destroyers.
All too soon, they maneuver to conquer the world, starting by enslaving Vampires. Battles result until one changes it all. In an attempt to deploy a bomb to close the rift of the merging worlds, the humans, Vampires and Werewolves work together for one final war. The result is catastrophic. Angels take a huge hit to their base as all the races lose numbers. The battle is a massacre, but the humans and immortals have made it clear they will not give up.
Chapter 4; Genesis-
It has been ten years since the battle. Rifts still remain open, however a form of humble peace has overcome all the races. Even Angels slowly become welcome into the reconstruction of society, though no one trusts their intentions fully. The city is permanently transformed, but everyone finds a way to make it work. Strike leaves the city to explore the territory, intending to bring back information for all. He never returns and his sister, Crystal, is forced to take position of Alpha. Their base, the old mall, welcomes all who need it, but the main pack remains within. She encourages wolves to assist in Patrolling and Guarding the city. Humans remain strong in Haven, led by Oriana, contributing to their community by providing food in the form of vegetation and meat. They also have reintroduced currency to keep order. Magda Choiseul rebuilds her Manor, offering sanctuary and peace amongst the races. She provides care to those in need through shelter and health. The Manor also acts as a form of Embassy, for the races to coexist effectively. Vampires take refuge at the Mining Quarry, the outskirt pack no longer effective, they mine the salt to contribute to the city as well as any other resources found there.
There are many who do not agree to coexist and work to destroy their enemies. Others have embraced coexistence. But all understand the dangers of the outside world for beasts have risen and threaten the revived city in the most primal of ways. No one knows for sure if the Angels truly are willing to work together. New comers are always coming and going from the city, drifters from other few remaining cities/towns exploring for a new meaning.
The land fights against the intruders that have clashed realms, citizens constantly fall to its trickery. Outsiders move in startling ways, still bloodthirsty as ever, but more willing to do the extreme at any cost. Travelers search for reason and understanding but some accept the trauma of the world and turn against their own people creating groups of rogues and bandits.
How will you survive?
