A deep growl came from her lips as she debated what she was doing. She was playing tug of war with what she wanted and what were her feelings. How did someone like her who placed pack and leadership first lowered her guards to feel for someone. Someone that drove her mad, tested her loyalty and so on. Selene snorted, maybe she was reading to much into this. This is why she needed to think only as a warrior and not as a woman. Being a woman was too emotional and the lines of judgment seems to blur what one wants and one desires. Her face flushed at the word desires. She glanced over her shoulder at the place she now called home and shook her head. "No no no." she muttered to herself. Selene was not going to travel that route. Maybe she should just get the damn challenge done and over with. March in that building and tell Jerome that she wanted his position and that she wanted to kick his ass for it. She was skilled, she was fit, and she knew the responsibility that came with being Beta. The idea of getting into a one on one match was very pleasurable to her mind. She frowned, poor choice of words.
Turning on her heels of her combat boots, she felt the katars bounced against her hips and another sigh slipped from her lips. "Selene, no more wasting time.' she muttered to herself.
"Who are you talking to?"
She glanced to the side to see a fellow wolf and someone she frequently trained with.
"No one, just clearing up some thoughts that have been bothering me." she bluntly replied.
He gazes at her for a long time.
Shifting her weight she waited to hear something from him.
"What are you up to?"
She narrowed her eyes at the question and lifted her chin superiorly, "Why would you think I am up to something?"
"A lot of lycans have accepted you, but some still don't know what your motive is?"
"If i have a motive, i wouldn't share it." She knew the few that was still unsure of her and it was the one that made her stand on edge. The she-wolf took a challenging step towards him with a low growl. "Stop beating around the bush. Say whats on your mind. I am sure you have a lot to say."
He placed his hands up in defense. "I'm not challenging you. I will leave that to someone else."
Selene snorted and crossed her arms over her chest as her eyes narrowed in annoyance. "Someone else? I don't care who is. I will take anyone on if they want the challenge. No one scares me." She stepped closer that she was inches away from the male, "And i mean NO ONE..." The last bit of words were a growl which in turn made the male lycan growls back.
She stood her ground and should him that she meant business. His lips curled back with a snarl, but all she did was curl her lips revealing her sharpened canines and scoffed at his weak growl.
