Seems like just yesterday
Thrown through the air, the small and frail looking Sybil crashed into the cross, crumpled in a heap at its base. The large lycan smiled down at the vampire as he picked her up and shoved her against the cross.
"Check mate, lovely."
Now I can't breathe
The lycan went in for the kill, but the sharp blade pierced through his jaw and into the roof of his mouth, locking his muzzle shut. A muffled howl escaped the lycan and he dropped Sybil. The sai slipped free of his snout and stayed locked in her hand as she landed on the cement base.
"Don't count your chickens before they hatch."
I'm torn into pieces
Blood-stained pigtails bounced off her shoulders as she moved swiftly. Jabbing the sai into the lycan's abs, she placed a firm foot to his chest. Bright amber eyes met his, and then a fanged grin played her lips. She kicked him back, sending him crashing into a tombstone. He howled in pain as it crumbled under him.
I used to be so strong
Sybil, dressed casual in a pair of denim shorts and a maroon tank top, was beaten horribly. Three deep gashes trailed across her cheek, bruises began to darken on her arms and legs, four punctures on each upper arm from where the lycan had thrown her once before. Her eyes returned to an icy blue, they seemed even more deadly that they were framed with thick black eyeliner. Across her stomach was once more a set of claw marks, her tank top torn around the thick crimson lines. The chilled night air made her outfit seem out of place, but the light blue jacket she had been wearing was torn and tossed off as the fight had begun, and lost somewhere in the graveyard.
Swallow me then spit me out
With a long and low growl, the lycan pulled himself free of the small pile of rubble, he bared his fangs and his eyes sparked with a new flame of determination to kill. He lunged, his claws embedding themselves deep in Sybil's sides as he pulled her in.
No, I don't cry on the outside
A loud cry of pain spilled over Sybil's cherry-colored lips. Her sharp fangs then bit down into her bottom lip with a loud pop and blood spilled down her chin as she released. The sai fell from her hands with a clatter of metal on concrete as they hit the cement base. Before he could take a bite out of her, she used what strength she could muster and threw the base of her palm into the wolf man's sternum. His eyes grew large as he was thrown backward. He hit the ground and attempted to howl, but could get the breath. It was clear his chest had caved in, the sternum snapped.
Here I am, once again
"You'll be dead soon. Those ribs should have punctured your lungs, and your sternum is compressing your esophagus."
Her words were filled with hate and disgust. She had learned what each attack she would use did, it was part of the kajukenbo criteria. And she loved explaining it to those that some of the more deadly attacks had been used on.
"If you can still breathe, your blood wont be getting enough oxygen to circulate, and it'll clog up in your lungs waiting for the right amount. So you'll die from Respiratory Arrest instead of suffocation."
Broken up, deep inside
She cringed, the pain had now hit her. She felt with a gentle hand along her sides, tracing each puncture and each broken and snapped rib. Blood flowed, and soon she could bleed out. She wavered. Her eyes returned to blue as she watched the lycan squirm and slowly die, then finally transform back to his human state and whither away.
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Stumbling over herself, Sybil picked her sai up from the dewy grass. She turned her gaze to the crisp night sky, the stars and full moon lighting the graveyard into a day-like place. She smiled cruelly as her broken bones snapped back and healed. The punctures in her sides had begun to heal, she'd be good as new very soon. But that didn't mean the pain wasn't present.
