(The sky is dim with gray clouds promising rain. There are double the amount of body guards around than there were the previous speech. They look alert and ready for anything. Greggory takes to the podium. He looks healthy and he smiles gently at the people who gathered. He nods to them as if to tell them he is fine.)
"I know many of you are curious as to my condition. I assure you, I am more than fine. I received the UV bullet to my shoulder and my men were able to secure me before any permanent damage could be done, and for that, I am eternally grateful for them.
"Along with the on-going investigation to find the killers of the deceased council members, we are now trying to find out who attempted to assassinate me. I would not be surprised if the culprits are one in the same. I am lucky. I realize that. They wanted me dead. I survived. But I'm not afraid. I'm not going to let this attempt make me a coward. As a matter of fact, I feel stronger now in my words and my convictions for peace. I stand here, more confident than ever, that as hard as they try to pull us apart, each action they make will just bring us all closer together. What they tried to do to me, to us, only makes us more determined to stop them and show them that we stand strong and solid.
"And to prove my point today, I will reveal information for you. We have found a sample of wolf-like fur at the area where the shooter was perched. Identical fur was found at one of the crime scenes. The DNA isn't the same, but I doubt this is a mere coincidence. However, before any of us can jump to conclusions, we must find more solid evidence. I do not want to see any violence come out of what I've revealed... that would entirely defeat our purpose. But I felt it was only fair of me to share my knowledge with you.
"Please.
"I know it has been difficult lately to hold onto what we believe -- peace. I know it's getting more and more difficult to do so, but I believe in you all. I trust in you all. And I believe and trust that all of you will hold strong and resist any temptation for violence or quick assumptions.
"Thank you."
