(Where Greggory Smith's original speech was supposed to take place, there is now a crime scene, civilians being forbidden to enter. There are several repeating news reports regarding recent events. One of them is as follows.)
"Ongoing investigation into the sudden disappearance of well-known and respected councilman Greggory Smith is still underway. Police investigators have passed the forty-two hour mark and are continuously growing more anxious. The police are giving away limited information, informing us only that they have little to no leads as to Greggory Smith's current status and location. It has been noted that Greggory was last seen walking out of his apartment and into his car. It is unknown where he was going, but his car was later found abandoned in the Congress Park. The area is currently off-limits to everyone without authorization. Police say there was no sign of struggle, but they are not ruling out foul play or kidnapping.
"A statement by chief of police goes as follows: 'I am afraid I cannot give out much information, but I know that all of us, everyone here and listening and worrying, just want to see Greggory safe and with us. It is a shame to have this happen to yet another councilman, especially one who has worked so hard to stabilize the peace treaty. We will not rest until we have him back safe or we know what happened to him and the people responsible, if there is anyone, will be brought to justice.'
"Well, we can only hope that Greggory Smith is alive and well."
(End of news report.)
