Vlad stood on the roof of the Asylum, watching as the first rays of the moonlight began to show themselves over the horizon, beginning to cover everything in there pale glow. He did not know why he had come to this place, but all he knew is that something was drawing him here, and for that same reason he felt as if something well telling him to seek out this place. Even from the roof, he could pick up the scent of death, he had heard about this place, once a place that tried to preserve and restore life, now only housed that of the dead, people forgotten and left to rot.
Walking over to the edge of the roof, he guessed he would explore the place, not really knowing why he was here anyways, as he placed both his feet on the ledge of the roof, looking down it was quite a drop, counting the windows he was at least six stories up, as this place was massive. He was on the east wing of the building, there were four other wings plus the main building and two towers stood like sentinels watching over the corners of the place. "Humans" he said, as he thought about how they held people here against their will "How disgusting" as he took a slow step forwards, dropping of the edge without a sound.
Spinning around, he grabbed into the ledge, the weathered cement cracking under his fingers as he planted two feet against the stone wall, kicking off, launching himself towards a overhanging ledge, landing just below his mark, he dug his claws into the wall, pushing himself up a foot so he could grab the ledge, then planting his feet again, he kicked off, spinning his body so he faced the direction he was going, seeing a metal rod that stuck out of the side of the other building, with a free hand, grabbed the railing, bending under his weight before using the momentum, swung himself forwards and launched up and over a pillar that spanned between the two buildings.
Clearing the pillar, he landed on the edge of it, looking forwards to see a window hovering infront of him about seven meters. Looking down for a second realized that he was still up about five stories, and he would have to wall run to make it to the window. Shifting his feet, he sailing forwards, landing on the wall, he began to run, using his momentum to keep himself going, he was almost there before he felt himself losing grip, with about only four meters to go, he put a hand on the wall and kicked off, sailing forwads towards the window, the wind whistling in his ears.
With only about a meter to go, his eyes went wide as he realized he had made a miscalculation. He saw the moon in the glass, and the reflection of the world like a mirror as he approached, but that was were he had made his error, for that meant there was glass in the window, and guessing that this place was made to keep people in, he doubted it would be thin eather. Letting out a sigh, he put his arms up, bracing himself for the blow, and also cursing, for he had just lost his quiet approached, for if there was anyone in there, they knew he was here now.
Hitting the glass, in spider webbed before smashing, shards flying every were as Vlad landed on the cold stone, going down on one knee, his arms still in a x infront of him. He listened to the last of the glass hit the floor, before opening his eyes, the smell of death instantly hitting his smell. Slowly standing up, he winced as he looked at his arms, millions of little cuts and shards of glass covered his arms, along with parts of his body. Stinging as the wounds touched the air, he saw that they were already healing, as he pulled a rather large shard from his shoulder, the blood dripping down his coat as it slid out of his flesh, he could see some of the bone before the cut began to heal, for that one might take awhile.
Quickly he looked around, he had landed in a hallway, all that lined the walls were doors, some were open some were not, but the smell of death lingered everywhere, he had not expected it to be so strong, as he began to make his way down the hallway, coming to the first door he peaked inside. Against the wall, there lay a corpse, the maggots had gotten to it as the creatures covered the body, dried blood splattered the walls as he looked around. It must have been someone searching the place, as he took a step back, and above the door the room number had an empty printed above the number. Walking out of the room, he began to head deeper into the place, deeper into a once called hell.
