The ruin of a theater was just as Trip had left it before. Her clearing in the front was still there. Almost as if it was waiting for her. The remains of the chair she had shattered was still were it fell. She could almost feel her past self walking through the rows, dancing in the front. She smiled thinking of the incident.
The werebeast found a nearly fully intact seat and sat down. She looked down at the front of the theater from the middle row. Thinking about her meeting with the two humans. So much had happened since then. She had met so many people. Traveled around the city so much. She had met other werebeasts; Luca, Varanus, Kyra and Angelis. Ran into the human Josie, and a few vampires as well. Alice her roommate was a major improvement in her life. She felt very close to the vampire, even though they had known each other for such a short amount of time.
The werebeast sighed, regretting there was no phones, no way to contact Blaze or Avery. Then a funny idea came to mind. A childish one, and she knew it but an idea none the less. They had come before attracted by her music and dancing. Maybe if she performed on the stage again, maybe at least one of them would come. She ignored the idea at first, getting up to leave. Then as she was about to exit the room, she laughed, realizing she couldn’t leave with peace of mind unless she tried.
She put her headphones in the same place, setting the volume to max, and playing the same fast past, song. Her moves were almost the exact same, a little different, but for the most part the same. Her eyes kept glancing towards the entrance, hoping to see one of the two human women. As time went on, she began forgetting why she was dancing, and started dancing because she felt alive again. Her body and mind went into the same trance it always did as she moved her body to match the beat.
Soon, she was in her home, the beat holding her in its arms, the singer speaking its words to comfort her.
