The place was rubble to say the least. Made her wonder why anyone even came here anymore. Granted here she was, the lone latina super human wandering around with nothing better to do. There were still artifacts in the museum but really she didn’t see a point to be there. Walking around through the exhibits and looking at things. The ones that intrigued her the most were the ones about werewolves and vampires. She hadn’t known that there was anything here to credit towards an old species of the beasts and about how they had lived before they were known world wide to be real creatures that went bump in the night. Of course part of Blaze wished she hadn’t ever found out about the immortals and part of her was glad that they were ripped from their shadows of secrecy. Sighing she sat down against the wall between two stands that held artifacts from the human’s past lives and how they had been in the beginning. Really she had no idea why she was here and now the girl was ready to go home, it was obviously pointless. Of course she didn’t know how she had gotten to this part of the museum so she was betting she was lost. “Fuckin great.” She said with a growl and rested her head back against the wall. “Now all I need is some vampire to find me and I’m good.” Certainly didn’t help that she had chosen to go wandering at night when a vampire was very much likely to walk in on her.
Yawning the latina used the wall to help herself stand again and started walking through the dark area. She wasn’t sure if the lights worked, hadn’t bothered to try them and was still content not to. Yes let’s turn on the lights and yell to the immortals where the stupid human was. Came the thought in her mind when thinking about the lights. That would certainly not be fun granted at least then she could see her way better. The sliver moon overhead did make it easier though and then also her better eye sight as a super helped. She was able to pick out things she had seen before and wound her way back through the ancient building looking for the front door. She must have taken a wrong turn at one point though because she ran into a room she didn’t recognize and only had this hallway as entrance. Sighing she turned around and once again started to back track not even bothering to look at what was in the room. Was pointless when all she wanted to do was leave. Going back to the spot where she recognized things she sighed and leaned against the wall. “So frustrating.” She said speaking about her lack of direction in this place. Course with how often she used to get lost in Haven this shouldn’t have been a surprise to her. “Next time trail of bread crumbs.” Blaze said with a huff and started walking the other direction this time following the things she had seen as her pointers for the right direction.
Finally the super came to the room with the door and stopped in the hall she emerged from. She was almost positive that she hadn’t left the door open in the least and yet now her eyes picked up a subtle crack in it that was so small it didn’t let any light go across the floor but was enough that she could see the light outside from the moon and stars. Entering into combat mode she slunk into a shadow and looked around. Obviously no one had spotted her, at least not an immortal or she was sure they would have attacked her by now. Perhaps the person had gone down one of the other halls then the one she had taken and so weren’t even in this room anymore. Calculations went through Blaze’s head as she thought and looked. This was so not a good idea anymore. She should have asked for someone to go with her or something so that if they did run into anything mean and nasty they could take it together like that day at the church with Asher but no, she hadn’t thought of that until now. Milk chocolate eyes scanned the area looking for what had followed her in and she slowed and quieted her breathing so that only immortal or super human ears would pick it up. Would be just her night if it wasn’t another human. That she could deal with, an immortal for her first time since becoming a super, now that would be interesting, well dealing with one alone anyways. Not that she thought an outsider really counted.
