Back and forth, back and forth, feet still on the ground, bent at the knee, hands folded into her lap, and eyes staring at the ground, that was the way the werewolf found herself sitting at the park. A park she had found such joy in before now literally just seemed like a place to go to. The war was going to begin soon, she could feel it. There was something in the way the air moved around her, a way that the wind blew at odd intervals tossing her auburn hair around her face and making her gold eyes ting with tears at the shear coldness of it. Jessi had come to work out here on her acrobatics as she usually did. Doing the usual had actually ended rather quick today and she wasn’t in the mood for the run back to the mall yet so she decided to take a sit. The swing squeaked as she moved it back and forth. Another gust of wind and the see-saw went up and slammed down on the other end making Jessi jump out of her thoughts and her gold eyes to turn back to their natural green.
No one was there, of course no one was there. Giving a nervous laugh she stood up again and shook her head. Sitting and thinking were never good, made her want to go back into her solitary life she had before that one day she decided to go to the gym and then a run, a day to meet two wolves that she hadn’t heard from since. With a growl she started doing some stretches, mine as well work on some zen things instead of getting all worked up, that never helped in the past and she doubted it would help now. Finally standing to her full height of five foot five she looked around once again the wolf peering through her golden orbs. Starting the slow movements the energy centered in her body the moves just flowed. Tai chi had been one of her favorite things to use to calm herself down, it always seemed to work the best.
Flowing from movement to movement Jessi got lost in it, the world around her no longer mattering. The wind that pierced through her thin clothes of a t-shirt and black baggy pants couldn’t even penetrate the concentration that consumed her mind. Bare feet crunched on leaves that had blown in with the wind from unknown trees and the merry-go-round spun with the next breeze that passed through the play ground. None of the eeriness touched her where she lost herself in the calming defensive positions of her style though. It moved like a dance for the she-wolf with how often she had done this in the past especially in New Orleans with the pack, it made it all just natural. Ralph had taught her the style to relax her hot head when it decided to activate and it shouldn’t have. Of course that seemed to be happening more and more as of late.
Jessi thought back to the day she and Soph had gone to the mall. She had aggrivated them all to no end and she knew it but until now she didn’t really consider her actions. They were now her pack and she had no idea if they were even still mad at her. Of course she was probably more of a flee of annoyance with the main issues at hand. Still an apology was probably in order. A deep breath left her and she jumped and did a kick landing gracefully on the balls of her feet. Yes an apology was in order, at least to the Beta. She knew that the ranking officers over her deserved to be treated with respect, that had been engraved into her mind from the minute she entered into a pack when she was young, then again she still was young. Another deep breath and the steady fluid movements continued while the wolf was lost in her thoughts not paying attention to anything around her.
