"It's much too cold for that," the young female said aloud to no one in particular as she thought about sliding her jacket off. At this point, the human was used to having chilly fall days, but she wasn't used to having a few holes in her jacket. Holes that she, of course, had accommodated in none other than a clumsy moment earlier that morning. Having not checked her open skin for any wounds, she turned her palms upwards and into the mid-morning sunlight. A few scrapes were found upon her right palm which was accompanied by a rather large and ragged cut that ran the length of her thumb. She could tell that the flesh underneath would be bruised and with a shrug, turned her head to examine the palm of her left hand... and saw nothing. It almost always confused her when one side of her body was more hurt than the other until she replayed the mishap in her mind - where she almost always came to the understanding that she would catch herself harder on one side than the other.
Tori's shoulders moved up and down with ease, a carefree shrug telling anyone within eyesight of her mood and also letting her know if any other part of her upper body was hurt. For a well trained human, she was pretty clumsy which would explain the brand new holes, rips, and tears in her favorite clothing. She made sure that no one wound was openly bleeding before she started on a normally taxing quest - a walk through the park. "Hmm," she mused, thinking about the hazardous playground and mounds of junk that lay around the immediate area. It was like a mine field for a soldier, but Tori being the happy-go-lucky older teen that she was helped her curiosity and need for adventure arise for the second time that day.
Furrowing her brow, Tori moved her feet one in front of the other as she scoped the area out before she could settle at least semi-comfortably. Not sensing or seeing any one being in the immediate area, a slow smile snuck across her features. The human's small pearly whites gleamed in the sunlight as she walked to none other than the swings. Small fingers followed suit to dainty hands as they slid down the old, cool iron links that eventually led down to the rubber seat of the child's toy. Tori closed her eyes against fleeting memories as she turned, standing on tip-toe momentarily before plopping her ass down into the familiar stretch of used material. Her smiled stayed checked in place as she cupped her hands around the long chains, sliding her uninjured hand to face level - immediately used as a rest for her temple. It may have been an eerie, curious area... But the young human felt like she had many a time before in her old home.[/font]
