Pausing in midstep she looked over shoulders and gazed into night. Shrugging a shoulder, she continued her walk. Her mind deep in thoughts as she walked under th emoonlight. She stopped again and looked around, nothing looked familiar to her. Vidia realize that she was she was lost. She must have been so deeped in thoughts that she didn't realize where she was going. Her blue eyes drifted to the building that was in front of it. It seems her mind can’t get over the fact that she was utterly alone. The feeling bothered her and has been since she talked to the super named Blaze. That one conversation has been bothering her for awhile and it made her itch to run from these feelings that over taken her senses. Her eyes went hard as she started to head to the factory. She needed to start paying attention to what she was doing instead of analyzing every little emotion that agitate her.
Jumping at the sound of noise, she spun around. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end as she searched the shadows. Her hand drifted to her side as she took a step back. Her fingers slightly touched the hilt of her newly bought dagger that strapped to her outer thigh. Her eyes widen at a movement. What was that? She took another step back and slowly pulled the dagger out of its sheath. What ever it was it was big. A wolf? She narrowed her eyes and tried to get a good look. Damn it what the hell as she gotten herself into. What ever it was it was moving again. She glanced around to see if anyone was nearby that can help her, yet there was no one. It was all her and she hoped that she can deal with it.
A growl came from the shadows and finally stepped into the moonlight. Her eyes widen at the sight of the being? What the hell was that? It looked like a werewolf kind of but deformed. It bared it’s teeth at her and her eyes darted to the building. She wasn’t fast enough to out run it but she can sure as hell try. Another one came out of the shadows and slowly moved forward. Like a deer she froze, completely alert. Vidia tried her damn best to keep her nerves relaxed, yet the hungry gleam in its eyes shimmered and she knew that she was going to be there meal. It’s tongue slowly glided over its mouth and she backed up. Her heart was hammering in her ears as fear clouded her mind. She was afraid, she admits it. She was going to die knowing a crummy life and that was that. The blade glittered underneath the moonlight, yet she had a feeling that the knife was nothing to them. Turning on her heels she made a mad dashed for the doorway. The whole time her breathing was ragged as she ran for her life.
Pain shot through her form as she hit the ground with a thud. A few feet from the doorway. A hard grip was on her ankle slowly dragged her toward them. “No.” She yelled, her fingers dug into the earth as she tried to claw herself away from the monsters. Turned on her back and kicked the beast in its head hard. It snapped at her and continued to pull her into the shadows. She was going to die by them. Not today. Not ever. She gripped the dagger and with her might stabbed the creature in its head. The knife sank into it temple and the animal let her go with a cry of pain. Breathing heavily she got to her feet and ran again, but she just reached the door way when she was snatched up. Damn, she forgot about the other one. She cried out in pain as the animal squeezed her arms as it lifted her. It growled in her face, Vidia choked on the smell of rotten breath and struggled against the beast. It was useless. The thing threw her hard, slamming onto a nearby wall. Her head hit the wall hard and an explosion of colors erupted in her head. Her vision blurred as she hit the ground with a thud. A gasp of pain came from her lips.
Struggling to get up, she fell back onto the ground moaning in pain. Such force nearly killed her and here she was struggling to breath. As she laid there she watched as it came close to her, it leaned down and sniffed her. Slowly running its tongue over cheek. Trembling from the fear that pulsed through her body, it snatched her by her arm and lifted her again. Her blue eyes met the black depth its and memories flooded her of the black eyed vampire that killed her parents. Oh god, she thought, this was it. This is it. It snarled and tossed her again, this time into a pile of scrap.
White light flashed in her mind as a scream pierced the building. Was that her screaming? Her eyes slowly went to her leg. She gagged at the sight of a shard of glass that was embedded into her leg, she can feel the blood seeping through her blue jeans. Her eyes moved to the creature as it sniffed the air. It smelled her blood and she swore she can saw a dark smile formed on its face. Grabbing a hold of a pipe next to her, she held it tight with what strength she had left. Her body was bruised and weak. As it neared her, she swung with all her might, but it grabbed a hold of it and tossed it to the side. With a massive claw hand it came down on her, she screamed as she heard the fabric of her shirt ripped. She pressed her back more into the pile to get away from the strikes of the animal. Her body being pierced by the many objects that was broken. Can no one here her screams? Can no one help her? Was this the truly the end?
