Organization is important in any type of archive, but for a archive run by Ra’Lane it was more then important, it was a absolute. If it takes you an extra ten minutes to find a subject, and another twenty minutes to find the record you desire, that’s thirty minutes wasted, if ten people use the library every day, that’s five hours wasted every day. Ra’Lane prided himself on his efficiency, and thus any library he was ordered to take care of, would be the best organized and best kept that anyone in this operation had ever seen.
He had picked to meet his charge here since it was time for his routine house keeping on the library, but it was also the most practical place. He worked his way through the aisles making sure every single book was in its proper place. His head constantly throbbed as he brought up the memories of where he had positioned every books home. He felt slightly annoyed as he found several books out of place or were missing. Taking the time to search and find them he quickly brought his library back to its proper state.
The historian then set onto his next order of business. To be asked to train a slave in combat arts was insulting, but at the same time, somewhat flattering. Most angels had little faith in his clans ability to fight. Since Sadria had put her faith in him, he sure as if his honor depended on it, wasn’t going to fail. He had two hours before the human was suppose to show himself. So Ra’Lane retrieved several books on combat theory, basic combat forms, and many basic manuals of war. His approach was simple, teach the human the approach, train him to fight in his human state, then when he becomes a werebeast, he would become much more adept after learning how to fight in a handicapped state.
Ra’Lane needed to train his own pet in combat anyway, so the duo could learn together. Rather then waste time teaching them individually. They needed sparring partners anyway, and Ra’Lane wasn’t going to waste time sparring with untrained slaves. Even he was above that.
After refreshing his memory on basic combat theory of almost every clan, running through common training methods, and various weapons, he decided it was time for him to just sit back and wait for his charges to arrive.
