Left, right, left, kick. It was the pattern she had been doing over and over and was about to fall asleep. The bag in front of her swung with the force packed into her little body. Came with no longer being human after all. But really this was just ridiculous. Pulling her right fist back she forced it forward and into the bag. Her mind was blank and it took her a few seconds to register her knuckles were slammed into the reinforced metal beam that was in the center of the punching bag. Calmly pulling her hand free Blaze studied the damage. Her knuckles were split open and her hand red and scratched. A couple of the others were looking at her but the Hispanic woman ignored them. No reason to really worry or anything. Sighing the super went over the where her bag was stored and took a seat. “Didn’t even want to be in the gym today.” She mumbled under her breath. Her speech was heavily accented as it was low like a whisper. Rummaging through her bag she came up with gauze, tape, and a thin ace bandage. With how often she got in fights it was kind of a must to carry those three items for if she got her ass handed to her, Blaze almost had her very own first aid kit in the smaller pockets of the workout bag.
Ripping the gauze into smaller pieces she laid them across her knuckles. Blank chocolate colored eyes watched as the material hit the open wounds. Something in the back of her mind said she should be feeling pain or something along those lines but really the small super wasn’t. unrolling part of the tape she put it into her mouth to cut it with her teeth. Tearing it into two pieces she put it on the edges of the gauze to hold it in place. Sighing she blinked and reached for the bandage. Unrolling it from the main roll she put it on her hand. Not too tight but enough that it applied pressure. When done, she put everything unused back in her bag and zipped it shut. Standing up, her hand with the old injury yet still wrapped grabbed the shoulder strap of the bag and she went back to her room. Setting it down Blaze grabbed the pocket aid kit she kept in her drawers. Never knew when it would come in handy when she decided to go out into the real world and away from the safety of Haven. Lacing up her combat boots after putting the bottom of her cargos into them the small woman left the room making sure to close the door behind her.
Walking down the hall her hands settled into the pockets on her jacket. It had been a few days since she had gone out, was probably time to again. Passing through the halls she turned corners and found herself facing the courtyard to leave. Stopping for a second she glanced around then headed for the final exit. Getting out of Haven was rather easy, if you weren’t a human getting in was hard as hell. Walking through the courtyard though she knew someone was going to spot her. That she had managed to wander the entire halls had been a miracle in itself that she hadn’t seen anyone. But she managed to get to the gate and slip through without anyone yelling at her to get back. She wasn’t sure if Oriana’s orders to keep her there were still in place. Thankfully she had at least been allowed to no longer have guards on her door and so she had managed to sneak out once just last week when she ran into Jaggerd. Granted she hadn’t seen him since but hey, he didn’t live in Haven. Made it hard to run into someone when they didn’t live anywhere nearby. Turning down the way the girl began to walk down the street so far not seeing anyone around. It was just before midday so the sun was high and it was heating up, the jacket wasn’t really needed but it helped to hide some of the bandages still on her arms and neck. But something still felt off so she stopped and leaned against the wall of a building just across the street. Slowly she let herself slide down till she was sitting on the ground her body upset with her from the work out and not yet getting a break. “Damned recovery process.” She murmured and rubbed her shoulder where it was hurting a bit.
