It wasn’t late in the day but it was late enough. She wasn’t in the best of moods even for her. Her hands wrapped in bandage and a patch on her left cheek from the last fight she had been in she was out looking for something now. Energy is something she always needed to expend and fighting was the best way. Being a super now certainly helped that out a lot as well. She could take on the big bads of the city and be able to walk away even if she did get some cuts and bruises. Didn’t stop her. It didn’t before and it won’t now. Sighing she sat down on a chair and looked out over the park. The merry-go-round was still sitting there. Untouched and unmoving. Blaze wasn’t one to care about what was really happening to the world. The rearranging and shit was just what was going to happen. No way to change it now even if there had been a way to change it before. The angels had made sure there would be no way to go back. Thinking about the winged demons made her clench her hands until they hurt. They were the reason she had become a super, so that she didn’t have to die.
Standing up again she started to walk. She needed to keep moving. But she knew that if she waited enough something would come to have a try at her. That was partially what she wanted but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. She moved light on her feet making almost no sound. The training she was receiving at Haven was paying off, it also helped to expend some energy. But she had already gotten in trouble for attempting to start fights with other supers outside the ring. They were strict there, it wasn’t something the fiery latina was used to. Her fingers itched to hold a gun again but she didn’t carry them as much as she used to. Bullets were rare and hard to come by. So she was saving them for the real shit that was going to be hitting the metaphorical fan eventually. There was no way the angels were just going to stand to the side and let them build a sort of army in Haven of wolves and humans. They would attack them eventually, it’s why all of the base was on fuckin high alert. A sigh left her and she came to the pond. She had gone further then she wanted to.
Cursing under her breath she turned and went back the way she had come. The sun was still in the sky so it wasn’t like she was completely screwed yet. Vampires wouldn’t be out and angels hadn’t bothered her since the attack on her. Granted she could still run into outsiders and the other pack of wolves but she was betting they wouldn’t fuck with her either. Outsiders would, they were the reason she was injured as it was. Taking them out without her gun was proving a challenge, one she needed. Maybe she was becoming a thrill junkie. Oh well. People in this day and age needed something to keep them going. Hers just happened to risk her life every time. Yeah not healthy but they could bring it up with her middle finger if they really fucking cared enough to. Laughing softly she made her way to the merry-go-round and took a seat on the edge of it. Wasn’t something she would have usually done if it weren’t for the fact she just wasn’t ready to go back to base yet. She would wait as long as possible, maybe even nightfall before she would go back home.
