Chapters 1 & 2
A war, Vampires versus Werewolves. A classic. You may think this is like the movie “Underworld” but you are wrong. Taking the main theme of war from the movie, WVRP has transformed it into something completely different. Our own thing. With the same basic knowledge of Vampires and Werewolves, we alter the specifics into something more.
The war started before man was cave man, when magic and lore reigned the Earth. Vampires were of the earliest kind, but werewolves did not exist. Instead a breed named Kragarian ruled in their place. A race made of much more and so much power. Two lovers, Kragarian, held the world in their palms. But the vampires had other plans. Living within huts and in a peaceful way, the Kragarians began to suffer losses. The female had lost her father and her mother to the deadly plague cursing their kind. Her name was Iris. Soon after, she mysteriously disappeared without trace. The male was left heartbroken and unknowing. There, soon after her leaving, he used one of the few weapons known to kill their kind, and stabbed his mother and sister through the heart. The father had already been long dead, but his spirit still strong, strong enough to alter the boy. His name was Strike. Years passed, humans devolved and re-evolved, growing more and more with each passing year. Kragarians died out eventually, but he still remained. The plague had killed them all, Iris still unknown.
As mentioned, the years passed and soon we came to modern times. Twenty or so years pass to be exact. A war waged over Vampires and the now evolved werewolves. It was a petty war, basically over power and reign. Strike held position of the leading wolf, alpha. Setting generals and such powers to keep control over other parts of the world. Why? This is something you may be wondering as well. Why did the war start? Well, it all figured out to be that the Iris had become Lady Iris, Vampress of the vampires. The two had known this for years, her tainted blood formed her into something else, something else without feeling. Their hatred led to the war. But they met in an old abandoned apartment, just to meet. Neither would call off their kind. The war waged on, on and on. Over this war time, the kind had really grown to hating one another on personal levels, making this war more than what it started out to be. It was a true war.
But it seemed some of the kind took a liking to the other. This occurred in the now time. Some of the vampires had grown to liking the werewolves. Lady Iris once more disappeared, for she bore the marks of the Kragarian plague. Lady Rayne took over. She was to rein in Iris’s stead. Windegos soon came, packs and packs. No one knew why, no know knows why. We only know they kill to eat and some for fun. A treaty was soon declared, they became allies. It was all in hopes to rid the earth of the creatures, to better defend themselves. It seemed to work for a time, until the Hunters grew in numbers. Now the hunters seem to be all over the place, and the Windegos as well. However, the Windegos are more into killing the immortals. Why? Good question. But Lady Rayne has gone, left on her own in a feud. Iris in fact did return during Rayne’s time, but only as a bystander. Once more she and Strike regained what had been lost. There were plans to try and unite the races in a better way, but Iris had died before anything could be thought of further. Now there is no leader for the Vampires and the Werewolf leader is carrying the plague that killed all of their kind. What is to become of the Werewolves as well now?
It seems there is a new vampire in town. Gage. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to the Hunters. But it seems he knows more than that as well. Could this be the new leader they are searching for? The man sure does know how his details on it all.
