Player Title: Amanda - but I'm usually referred to as Mikky due to my character
Full Birth Name: Mikaela Elizabeth Harper
Alias/ nickname: Mik, Mikky, or Mika
Race: Werewolf
Gender: Female
Age: 32
Physical Appearance:
Mikaela is a petite woman, made mostly of long legs. She stands about 5'4, but looks longer due to her legs and her flowing brunette hair that reaches her mid back with its length. Her hair is typically wavy in texture, since it is its natural style. She has doe-like brown eyes and an almost doll-like face. If we looked at her style, Mikaela will dress in just about anything she can get her hands on, but aims for function and comfort over style in a typical choice of fashion.
Her fur when she is in her wolf form is marble toned. Brown and black strands of hair mix together on her body. Her muzzle and face are completely black however, making her light eyes stand out against the fur.
Personality Traits:
Mikaela is very mild-tempered. She stays calm in the most stressful of situations and tends to be the peace maker when those around her become enraged. A trademark of hers would be her light giggle whenever something is funny or when she is nervous. She's outgoing, never wanting to be cooped up for long. It's probably the wolf-blood within her that wants to run free. She is very intelligent and calculating when it comes to battle strategy and book knowledge. She is not much of a fighter, due to her slender build. However, she is very agile and can dodge and escape with ease due to her dancer's flexibility.
Mikaela fights when needed only. She does not like unnecessary conflict, but when loved ones are in endanger she will step up. She had never been so engrossed in a fight as to lose her temper, but instead stays level-headed through the ordeal.
Weaponry:
None, she depends on her werewolf abilities of speed, strength, and sharp senses in a battle.

History Summary:
Mikaela was born to Elena and Benjamin Harper. The family resided in New York State in a more suburban part of the state. The trio raised their daughter until it became a duo. Mikaela is still unaware of her mother’s desertion when she was two years old. Being so young, it hardly affected the young girl, but suddenly Benjamin, who was an on-call ER doctor, was forced to balance more than he could handle.
Benjamin raised Mikaela the best he could on little to no sleep for six years. Even the werewolf male couldn’t keep up with an energetic child and constant calls from the hospital. Most of the time, Mikaela was brought with and while her father was in surgery, the nurses would care for the young girl.
Once she reached the age of six, Benjamin could a get a break once young Mikaela was sent off to school. The old werewolf never revealed to Mikaela what she was. Children at that age were cruel without having something over another child’s head. He believed he was looking out for his daughter, who believed she was just a normal child.
Benjamin’s philosophy held up well until she was in second grade. Mikaela had caught the eye of one of the young school boys. Being, well a young boy, he had taken his mother’s silver bracelet and had decided he would give it to Mikaela. During recess, he slipped the bracelet onto the young girl’s wrist. The moment the metal touched her skin, it began burning the delicate flesh, making it extremely painful. Mikaela tore away from the boy, screaming, trying desperately to remove the bracelet off her wrist, only to burn her fingertips as she tried to remove it.
Benjamin ended up sitting next to his daughter in the hospital as she recovered from anaphylactic shock and a permanent twisted scar from the silver upon her wrist. It was from that moment that he told Mikaela of what she was and things she would need to avoid due to her werewolf blood. Benjamin had lost his wife already for some unknown reason; he refused to lose his daughter.
Mikaela’s return to her school didn’t last. She was constantly picked on and the hatred of narrow-minded parents had imprinted upon their children. Benjamin was quick to move his daughter to a new school and to a new home at that. He made sure everything was new, so that Mikaela could start again. Slowly, Mikaela started to come out of her protective shell that she had created after being teased. To help her open up more, Mikaela’s father put her into dance classes and from there her passion started.
Mikaela was head in her class for obvious reasons. She could be faster and a lot more graceful than her human partners. Her dream was always to attend Julliard and become a star on Broadway. She became more adamant about her dream once she stumbled upon her singing talent at a girl’s night out in a karaoke bar. But her father always wanted her to be a doctor, to follow in his steps. His main reason for pushing this on her was because she was a werewolf and like him, she could deal with other patients, such as her pack mates.
Those dreams came to a sudden halt once the power went out. Schools became less likely to have class and Benjamin began to worry. He had heard of the sickness that was making its way across the state that was plaguing the werewolves and other immortals. He never spoke out loud to Mikaela about his concern, but kept it quiet. He spent more time at home, than at the hospital since he couldn’t do much there anyway. He worked vigorously to find a cure, to no avail, and fell to it himself.
Mikaela was out hunting one night when she returned home to a very different home. The marble toned wolf came to the front of the house to see her father in his wolf form. Fur dark as night and would have been invisible had it not been for the cloudless night with a full moon in the sky. Hesitantly, the she wolf began to approach her father, but knowing in the pit of her stomach something was very wrong. Her father had lost his mind to the disease and was unable to tell friend from foe. He considered everything thing foe, mostly food.
It took only one swing to change her life. Her father lunged at her and unable to think of another method, she swung at him. The hit was a solid blow to side of the head near the neck and was enough to dislocate bones and snap his neck.
The she-wolf has yet to grieve her father’s death. Shock consumed her first and foremost and then with some much going on in her life with the pack, she hasn’t dwelled on it yet. Luckily for her, Connor is a rather good distraction from her past.
But that path is one she still has to cross to release herself from the guilt and blame she has for killing her father. Mikaela’s guilt manifests itself into terrible night terrors that she remembers nothing of in the morning. When she finally realizes that she was unable to do something else, she will be freed from the terrible nights of loss sleep.
Mikaela settled into the city pack well. Using the skills she learned from her father to help in any injuries that occurred. However, Mikaela realized just how weak she was when she was attacked by a vampire, nearly losing her life in the fight had Connor not rescued her. With the realization of how weak she was plaguing her, the she-wolf left the pack for a year, only to return when she felt she had bettered herself.
Things quickly escalated with the wolves heading into battle with the angels. She stayed behind, tending to the injured who would return to the den. All through the fight she stayed close to Connor, supporting him in anything that he needed and never swaying from her permanently calm personality even through all of the battles.

“You already have that,” Mikaela whispered with a small giggle. The brunette’s lips curved into a gentle smile. She had always trusted Connor’s decisions and given the support he needed, plus more. Even in the year that she was gone, she hadn’t lost her faith in Connor. She only hoped that in the year she was gone, she had gained more strength to share with him. She looked down at their hands briefly, catching Connor’s constantly tightening grip as if he was afraid to let her go. It didn’t hurt, but it did make her worry about why he was afraid to let her go. She turned to look up at him when he mentioned the roles that could be taken with this upcoming war. She nodded her head. She didn’t want to be useless, but staying behind wouldn’t be useless. She would be able to help those who couldn’t fight. Mikaela also had a decent amount of medical knowledge under her belt and could help those who were wounded. “Maybe I’ll stay here…keep up morale,” she said. A small smile crossed her lips, knowing Connor would have preferred her safe instead of in battle. He wouldn’t direct her thought, because he would want her to make her own decisions. But Mikaela was always more of one to take care of the aftermath than to actual fight, unless she really needed to fight. She trusted her abilities now as a fighter, but she trusted her skills as a ‘nurse’ better. Mikaela was snapped out of her thoughts when Connor’s lips brushed across the flesh of her hand. She smiled sadly, wondering if it was due to the previous topic. The brunette’s eyes widened with what he spoke of next. “R-Really?” she asked, stunned by the proclamation. They had been raised differently, she understood that. Though, she supposed that eventually it would happen, considering all the time they had spent together and the relationship they had. In response to his statement, she stood on her toes and put her lips against his in a gentle kiss. She pulled away slowly, opening her dark brown eyes to look at him and his reaction. |
