Golden eyes narrowed at the old mall, alert she listened to every sound that was around her. The smell of the pack was strong here and she knew she found the place. It has been years since she was last in the city and during that time she never made it here to Strike’s pack. Yet words have drifted that he left to discover new lands and his sister was now in charge. Straightening her form, she placed her hand upon her hips and snickered. How foolish she was for leaving to begin with, the role as Beta was in her and she wanted it as much as she wanted back then. Slowly she ran her tongue over the curve of her lower lip and nodded, it was time for her to join a pack again.
How long has it been since she was last part of one? Selene was fooling herself, she enjoyed her time traveling the lands and enriching her knowledge of the world. Strengthening her body and mind, she was stronger and more patient. She will have the role of Beta, for now she was a student and will be studying. Leaning down and grabbed the handle to her duffel bag and swung it over her shoulder swiftly.
Grinding her heel of her beige color boots against the ground, she lifted her head to the sky and admired the sight of the clear blue skies. A new day, she thought as she advanced towards the old mall. The feel of her Katars bouncing against her jean clad hips gave her comfort for her friend was nearby. The weapons have been with her for so long, that to not have them she would be lost. The deadly claws were like an extension to her hand. For once they stay at her side, for she had no intentions to use them today.
Pausing at the doors, she glanced around to make sure she was alone. No sounds were to be heard that was out of place. Animals scurried and the wind blew, but nothing that would alert her to fight. Nodding, she relaxed her form and placed her hand on the door to open. Lashes lowered, she glanced around the quiet area and pondered to where everyone was. The smell was strong of wolves. Many wolves.
Brushing her brown hair away from her face, she moved swiftly into the building to find someone she talked to. How would this pack accept her? Would she have to fight? Or would they accept her, but close eyes on her as well? No matter to her, she would take anything they were willing to dish. The question was do they have what it takes to fight her? She may not look much to the eyes with her many shades of brown hair, soft face and slender form, but then again looks can be deceiving.
Dropping the bag on the floor, the loud thud seemed to echo through the area and her lips twitched into a smile. Moving away from the bag, she observed the place and wondered what supplies was kept here. Interesting place to be live, she thought. Where would a she-wolf like her sleep? Eh, not something she wanted to think about now. Being welcomed in the pack was first on her agenda. Then she shall see what will happen next.
