Name: Adam William Davis
Gender: Male
Age: 78 (Turned at 40)
Hair: Short and white/silver as a result of lack of sunlight for decades.
Eyes: Black
Skin: Taunt and pale as a result of lack of sunlight for decades
Wears: Black leather storm coat, sleeveless flak jacket, loose fitting combat trousers, sturdy combat boots and a pair of intricate jewelled bracers gifted to him by Strike.
Weapons: Pair of stun sticks and two Desert eagles. One loaded for vampires, the other loaded for Lycans. IK-1 rifle, IK-2 sniper variant. A wide selection of nasty military issue surprises. Oversized silver alloy great sword forged from two silver long swords.
History: The MRRCT’s first artificial womb soldier, hence the initials AW. Adam was raised to hunt the things that went bump in the night and capture them of her Majesty’s pleasure. Having known no life but the military and having being subjected to the standard psychotherapy Adam is fiercely loyal to Queen and Country. However, all that discipline and no love have instilled a form of affectionless psychopathy in him. Adam is cold and while on the surface he appears completely devoted to his work. On the inside he wants only to serve himself. Raised around the things he would come to hunt Adam has a unique understanding of the supernatural and has in fact written several dissertations on the subject for the training of new recruits.
Life in the military pushed the young Adam to excel, pushing him harder and harder. Driving him to overcome the stigma of being an AW child. Adam excelled at his studies and training and was soon out doing what he was born to do. Defend humanity from the things in the dark.
That was then, this is now.
Commander AW Davis is no more….. Instead there is Adam Davis and AW Davis. Two sides of the same coin, awakened upon the night of the final battle of the lost war. Upon that night Davis was turned. Turned from the light into the darkness he had been created to fight. A lot of his men died that night, and with each one that died, part of Davis did as well.
The exact events of the battle were and still are a closely censored secret. For his actions during the battle, Davis spent two weeks sealed inside his nanofibre armour “regenerating” the “spinal injuries” he had suffered during the battle. That two weeks gave him enough time to make a convincing show of regeneration so as his secret would not be discovered. Days after his recovery, after he had been freed from observation. Davis went though the horror of his first change, alone….
Taking an extended leave of absence Davis spent the next two years grappling and learning how to deal with the deadly secret of his unique Lycan affliction, wandering the wilderness’s of the United Kingdom in his wolf state. Unknown, unheeded and more free then he had ever been before….
The events of the battle and what happened after lead Davis through a series of changes. The Black Omega Commander now resides in New York as an independent advisor to anyone who would seek his services. Yet he hides his deadly secret behind a suit of scent masking armour. His standing and knowledge allowing him to get away with such a thing.
So here Davis stands, trying to maintain the charade of humanity. But every full moon brings him closer to slipping up, letting someone know all about him… Even worse… someone already does… The Lycan who turned Davis is out there, somewhere… waiting…
Commander AW Davis, veteran of the lost war, figurehead champion of humanity… The military’s poster boy. But for how long? The slow fall from grace has begun….
The fall of society at large began around the same time as Davis’s own fall as it were. It started small, much like Davis’s own problems. First there was the apathy, then the anger, then the riots. Only you knew this was different because it was everywhere. From the major cities to right outside your door in the leafy suburbs. For some it was the worst thing to have ever happened, for it represented the death of all they knew and valued. For others this was a joyous occasion, a return to simpler times free from the rules of overarching society at large. For Davis the fall of society was a change to start afresh, a rebirth of sorts. Having long hoarded resources and having bartered his way into the pack that would have likely rejected him and murdered him out of hand for his crimes against the, Davis was perfectly placed to start again. No need to keep secrets and deny the beast in this brave new world. Indeed through the ministry of his sole progeny, a woman he had turned, infected with what he had seen then as a disease in a moment of rage, Davis has come to accept what he has become and while he does not know everything about being a Lycan and accepts he still has a lot to learn he is currently adapting well to the situation.
The world has turned since then, another war came. This one with creatures who came with the appearance of Biblical angels but the intent of conquerors. Davis fought in that one too, forming his own pack and leading them in a lengthy guerrilla war culminating in the detonation of a large bomb in order to close the rift between realities and turn the tide of the war. Having once more found himself in a time of uneasy peace, Davis has spent the past ten years hiding away more resources in preparation for when things invariably kick off. A survivalist at heart Davis spends his time roving about the wastelands collecting useful items and hunting to bring back food to the manor.
Given that pretty much everyone who knew about his past as a war criminal is now either dead, missing or largely quiet on the matter, Davis moves through immortal society with much more confidence and surety.
Personality: Cold and commanding, exactly as one would expect a military officer to be. Yet there is something beneath the surface…..
