Name: Akirari Marie Davenport
Nick Name: Aki
Race: Vampire
Gender: Female
Age: 124 years old
Appearance: Spirals of chocolate crown the top of her head and splash down around her shoulders. Eyes of the deepest brown peer from a pale, delicate face. At first glance, she appears to be innocent. But there is nothing innocent about her. Her preference for clothing, some would say needs help. Wearing a white poet’s shirt with the bell sleeves. The front untied and the strings hang loosely. A pair of comfortable fitting pants that show some of her curves, but leaves the rest to the imagination. A black pair of boots adorn her feet. A long black trench-coat completes the outfit, and she’s rarely seen without it on.
Weapon: A baseball bat.
History:
Akirari was born into a family that didn’t have a whole lot of money. Her parents were servants, and that made Akirari one as well. Growing up wasn’t so bad. It was fun actually. She played with the other servant children, and did as her mother and father asked of her. It wasn’t long before Akirari grew up, and had to accept her social status within the community around them. Her parents wanted to make sure that she would be with a nice, and loyal gentleman. So they talked to the locals to find out who had a son about her age. The blacksmith had a son, and so did the baker. Both of which, her parents thought were a great match.
Of course, the story doesn’t always go according to plan. Akirari was attending the mistress of the house in which her parents served. She was no more than a few years older than Akirari. She decided to take Akirari as her hand-maiden. Things slowly changed, as she was needed at the house more. And that left little time for anything else. Akirari didn’t seem to mind it all that much, except for when her suitors arrived. Some were gentlemen, but some always wanted only one thing from the mistress. Akirari would have to turn her head the other way, as the mistress could not be told what to do.
One of the men that called upon the mistress started to visit more frequently. Soon the others stopped coming all together, and the one was all that was left. Akirari thought that she had chosen herself a mate. Happy for the mistress, as she was dressing her the following morning. She noticed small bite marks about her collarbone, and her neck. Akirari knew better than to question these marks. But she grew rather worried for her.
It wasn’t long after she noticed the marks that the gentleman seem to talk to Akirari more upon his arrival. She would blush and show the man into her mistress’ chambers. But as time grew on, the man lured and charmed his way into Akirari’s embrace. Her heart grew fond of the man, but there was always that fear. Those bites that kept showing up on the mistress’ body.
Then finally, she had the courage to ask him. And he told her what he was. He was a vampire, and he had a blood connection with her mistress. Akirari felt her heart break. She should have known better than to involve herself with him. But he made a promise to her, that when he was done with the mistress they would be together forever. Akirari waited days, and even months it seemed. When all hope was lost, he came to her room. He apologized for making her wait. And kept his promise, he sired her to be his forever.
Years past, and Akirari never grew a day older. She had to leave the small town for fear her parents would catch on and know her secret. It was about this time that the wars broke out. As the wars around her blossomed and raged, she kept to the shadows. But, she did fighting of her own when it came to life or death. She lost quite a few people in the Great War. Friends, and loved ones alike.
Lost in a sea of loneliness, she found her way across the country. Not sure where she was going or what she was even doing, but she knew she needed to survive. Leading herself by instinct alone, she found herself in New York. There had to be a reason she was drawn here. She knew no other vampires, or werewolves. She didn’t really have any human friends. Maybe there was a reason she was called here. Akirari set in her mind that she would fine a place to call home once again. And maybe find a friend.
Ducking and hiding out, she tried her best to stay away from most of the living creatures. Living by the motto, you cannot trust anyone but yourself. She slept in the most uncomfortable of places. And even fed off animals since she didn’t know if humans could be trusted. Being a renegade vampire was not a good thing. It was then the Angels were rounding up the vampires. Akirari knew she had to find shelter, and fast. She continues to seek out those like herself, hoping for the day she doesn’t have to look over her shoulder.
Extras-
Personality: Quiet, shy, and mostly keeping to herself. Extremely intelligent with computers and technology, but shows signs of multiple personality complex from being alone for so long. Strong, fighting spirit.
Pictures: Working on that.
