Name: Jordan, son of Aiolos
Nick Name: The Genius of a Mistake
Race: Angel
Clan: Flaridar
Species: N/A
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Standing at the height of 5’10 (five feet and ten inches), Jordan has many distinct and appealing features, depending on the judge of his appearance. Jordan's hair takes a onyx black shade, and it's length reaches past his eyes. His skin is pale, and his face shows no blemishes or scars. The majority of his body is like this, the only exception is the imprints surrounding his torso from the chains being wrapped around it for as long as they have been. You will never see a genuine smile on his face. Maybe a sarcastic grin or a fake smile, but never a sincere one. His normal facial feature would suggest that he was bored. In some cases, that would be correct, but usually it's more of an uninterested sense than a bored one. If there was one thing he agreed with his race on, was that emotions were useless and a liability. He would not, however, pretend they were nonexistent. Surprisingly enough, he tries to hide his emotional features to the best of his ability, which contradicts his defiance. His eyes are a dark shade of Hazel, the same as his mothers. Considering his natural hair color is black, his wings are as well. His wings are also unique to an extent, looking metallic and mechanical, and less like appendages. His physique contradicts his heritage, being known for a warrior race, his body is lean. Most would expect someone of his race to have a large build, but Jordan sports a lean, slightly muscular body. Even so, do not let his appearance fool you; his natural strength from his heritage is still formidable. His body does not show signs of a battle hardened warrior, and considering him, it shouldn’t. His overall appearance could be considered attractive, depending on your preferences.
Before he covered his torso in the mass of chains, he wore chain mail over his body. Over that, he wore thin leather with small metal plates inside he material, each covering vital areas on his body. His lower half consisted of the same thing: chain mail, leather with small plates inside. On his feet, he wore tight sandals that didn't restrict movement. Considering his choice of attire, Jordan moves extremely fast and agile for his race, even with the extra weight. Currently, a large amasses of chains wrap around his body. A small portion of each end run down his sleeves around his arms, but are hidden unless allowed to slink out. The length of the chains are great, able to reach a wide area with a good amount of chain left wrapped around his body. An old coat is worn over this, still in tact but this zipper is broken and the coat itself is dirty. He wears the same lower attire, but has discarded the top half.
Weapon: Jordan has two different types of weapons, one of them very unique and not typically considered a weapon, depending on its use. The first weapon, something not so uncommon, is his use for various, small knives and etc. Although he has many knives on his person at all time, the variety is lacking. The majority of his knives are small, throwing knives. These are some of his most effective weapons, because combined with his incredible strength; he can propel them through the air at high speeds and in the process, allow them to have great piercing potential. He also carries two short blades (or really long knives, XD) that are sheathed inside his coat on the sides of the torso. Last, a butcher knife shaped like a miniature machete is kept inside his coat. Each knife has a hole in the bottom of the hilt to allow a chain link to attach to it.
His second weapon, which some would find laughable, is a long series of chains wrapped around his body. The chains are unique, and built specifically for combat and not their intended function. The material is sturdy and strong enough to withstand hard blows and attack, and combined with Jordan’s Angelic strength, has been known to level a section of a forest in one swing. There are also small openings in each link, allowing it to attach to Jordan’s knives or with other links for various purposes. Jordan’s training with himself and the chains have brought him an uncanny mastery of it. His can move the chains in percise and elegant manners and position, almost as if he was a telepath mentally controlling its trajectory. The chains wrapped around his body can also function as a makeshift set of armor or chain mail.
These weapons combined with Jordan’s training can lead to a surprising, but lethal combination if used properly. He doesn’t have a traditional or specific fighting style. Actually, it can’t really be called a fighting style at all. If it had to be given a name, it would be an elegant form of street fighting. There's no stance or anything, he just wings it, but there's no uncalculated move and he goes out of the way to make it look flashy and percise.
The Story Of A Man And His Misguided Sense Of Redemption...
History: Jordan was the offspring of Aiolos and Villeta. His father, Aiolos, was a talented tactician in his prime, said to be one of the greatest. Now, when you considered his race, it wasn’t the most respectable thing to be known for your brilliance and tactical appraise, but he sure was damn proud of the title. The same could be said for Jordan when he was old enough to appreciate tactics. Now his mother, Villeta, was more ‘the man of the house.’ She was a great warrior, both feared and respected and brought good word to the family. This next part is a secret known within the family, only Jordan and his parents know about it. Now love, or any emotion is frowned upon in their society, but they could not help but feel them anyway. After more and more time they spent together, Ailose and Villeta began to fall for each other. However, since marriages were typically arraigned, they needed a way to be wed without suspicion. Aiolos was able to use his wits and influential speaking to convince and set up a marriage between the two. As far as everyone else was concerned, it was strictly political, as they would give birth to great children. However, to them, it was their cover so they could live happy lives together.
Since Jordan was barely able to understand what was said to him, which was remarkably early, his parents would tell him stories about their ways of life, how they came to be and the conquest of the earlier races. They would tell him the roles they played in the conquest, and how they acquired their titles. Although Jordan was interested in his mother’s combat tales, he was more interested in what his father had to say about intelligence and tactics. His father would instruct him not to express these feelings outside of their home. Even though he was told not to, this led him question their other beliefs, and voice his opinions around other people. Word got around of this, and after awhile, his nickname came to light; The Genius of A Mistake. He was breed to be an exceptional and loyal tool, but instead his questioned the ideals the rest of his race held so dearly too. Not to mention his lazy attitude, his clan did not approve of this. As Jordan grew, these ideals and habits developed, and Jordan knew he was doing harm to his families’ name. He also disliked their need in strength more than speed and agility, which is why he was grateful his clan believed the same thing, give or take a few differences. With that in mind, his training consisted of small weapons relating to knives and using elegant and agile maneuvers with them. Speed was also emphasized. As he matured, he made friends with one of the slaves that belonged to his family, Callista. She was a few years older than him, but Jordan didn’t mind. The elders of his family disapproved of this, but his parents didn’t necessarily mind. As time passed on, his attitude became more defiant towards his race and their ideals, and he openly protested he rejected them. Not to mention he had proclaimed his love for Callista, who he had been seeing for the past few years. The clan had enough of him by now, and was no longer going to tolerate him. Their next actions were incredibly harsh, but did not come to a surprise to him. The clan had Jordan exiled from their haven, and the Elders of his family not only had Callista killed, but had Jordan disowned from the family.
He was now at the age of fourteen, not sure of what to do now. He had been exiled, disowned and his only friend and lover had been killed. His mind made the only rationale decision he could think of at the time, which wasn’t very reasonable at all, considering his judgments were swayed with grief and depression. His conclusion was that he had to repent for his ‘mistakes’ and redeem himself. He still did not agree with his race or their beliefs, nor would he ever. But the fact that he was of that race caused his mind to compensate with a reason. Even though he disliked them, he was still one of them no matter what, and felt that his redemption was the only thing he could offer to suffice whatever wrong doing he had done to get disowned and exiled. As traveled the wastes of his own world, he stumbled across something strange. It seemed to be an opening of sorts, but to where or what, he was uncertain of. He wrapped himself in chains, stating the chains would be a reminder of his redemption. Realizing that there was nothing more in this world for him, he passed through the void, letting it close behind him. He was immersed in light, and when his eyes adjusted, he was in a new area. The scenery was different and foreign to him. Jordan had assumed that this was his punishment and that his new chains had bound him to this world. This would be his redemption.
His time so far in this new world hasn't been long, and he has mostly spent his time observing. The creature that inhabited this world were similar to Angels, yet so distant and far off. He had also witnessed other strange beings there as well, different from the first species he had seen. Soon after he'd arrived, he witnessed a small number of his own kind in this world as well. Feeling that this was part of his redemption, he had to serve and ally himself with them. He felt this was the best choice anyway, they were the closest thing to family he had in this strange new world. During this time, he had begun to use the chains as weapons and had them modified to do so, quickly becoming an expert with them.

Personality: Jordan has a strange personality, almost a contradicting one. His nickname stems from his personality, in all truth. Jordan questions and tries to get an explanation for his race’s beliefs and how they look upon life. This was greatly frowned upon by the stricter Angels, and it wouldn’t be too far to say all of them. Even so, he has adopted traits that his race has deemed appropriate. Unlike some of their customs and beliefs, he does not despise them, though, as he grew up like that without his want to question it. Although he agrees with some of their standards, there are more than not that he disagrees with. One think since his childhood, which he had adopted from his father, was his intelligent and tactical prowess. He believed that combat with a strategy was nothing more brutish instincts that were not acceptable. Considering his people were a war like race, this was something they looked down upon. A trait that he received from his mother was, coincidentally, his skill in combat as well. However, a trait Jordan developed on his own is his incredible laziness. Where any of his other people would wish to fight, he’d rather sit back and observe, give his own suggestions on how the battle should be fought. Although he is considered a genius, where he excels in skill, he lacks in experience with his young age.
Jordan has his own system of honor as well, which includes his own misguides sense of justice. If he finds it unacceptable in his standards, then it is unjust and needs to be corrected. Although his follows a standard of honor, his methods of doing things would seem to contradict them. He is a very manipulative person, and is not above doing whatever is necessary to win. He feels that as long as his actions are for the will of justice or his ‘honor’, then they are just as well. He also is an excessive liar when he needs to be, and has became skilled at creating ‘masks’ (IE. Like fake emotions or gestures, etc.). Even so, he is also very blunt when the situation calls for it, or when he’s too lazy to lie. Jordan is also obsessed with his ‘redemption’, basing most of his actions on the will of it. Although he holds no love or specific loyalty to his race, he feels redemption is necessary for his family. Because of his conflicting morals and personality, Jordan often questions his own actions and never rushes into anything without thinking of every possibility ahead of time. He's very nonchalant when it comes to other races. He harbors no hate to any of them as of yet.
