Crystal had to say, Choiseul Manor had quite a beautiful visa. Since the rebuild, Magdalene had really kept up the place and her vision. Frankly, Crystal had never cared much for outward appearance and hadn’t bothered putting the time and energy into the Mall for its looks. But viewing this place, she thought better now. The walk in reminded her of what they all once had. Despite the realm shift being very near to what Crystal had grown up with lifestyle wise, she had become spoiled and used to the modern way of life. Well not so modern now.
The guards of the manor luckily recognized her though she went through the same process she was sure Haven and her Mall did, as well as the main gate. Of course she had weapons, she always did, but she surrendered them to the guards without resistance for today was a social call. Well, business as well, but Magda was not one to blatantly attack Crystal so long as Crystal kept her hands to herself first. Sometimes that was a difficult task however today it would be easy. Magda did Crystal no wrong in these past years, or ever for that matter, and oddly, Crystal had become fond of the other woman. In a way she could see why her brother called her friend at one point. Though she was pretty damn sure Magdalene Choiseul was a permanently changed woman since then.
As she walked through the front doors her eyes began to scan the interior as she waited for one of the run boys to fetch the host. Oh she was most definitely doing some redecorating of her own as soon as she could. Appearance truly did make the difference. Sighing she caught her image reflecting back at her in a nearby mirror. Long white hair brushed and braided down the center of her back, the only good pair of jeans she owned, her leather halter top and black boots meant for a woman’s feet. Instantly she realized how much like her brother she dressed. Well that was great. Rolling her eyes away from the image, her entire mood hit the floor. She had come to speak with Magda about what should come of Strike and already she was dwelling her thoughts on the subject matter. A subject she really did not wish to face but knew it had to happen.
