The juice of the apple slide down her chin from the bite she took. How long has it been since she took a bite of such a delicious treat? The thought was there, but her attention lingered on the many beings that walked by her to get into the Trade Center. She wiped the juice with the sleeve of her smoke gray shirt and sighed at the day that slowly was wasted away. Bored, Selene decided to leave the Mall to check out the Trade Center for a new scenery and to get away from all the wolves. She wanted solitude and a change of pace from her normal guard duty and training. With a shift of her hips, the katars bounced against her hips as she wrapped her free hand around her midriff. The white pants hugged her lower half tightly and bit into the juicy red apple again.
“Hello pretty.”
With a lick of her lips, she cleaned the juice and let her golden brown eyes drifted to the being that spoke to her. Selene spotted the male wolf and took notice quickly that he was not of the pack. Silently, she let her eyes drifted from the top of his head to the tip of his nose. Not seeing a threat, she dismissed him and continued to happily eat her apple.
“Did you hear me?”
Looks like he was one not to give up. Stupid pup. “I heard you, I just choose to ignore you.” The words were cold and clipped. Maybe he would pick up on the fact that she was not interested. It seem lately the males have been sniffing around her as a potential mate. No way the fem was going to be a mate and having pups. Motherly love was not her thing, neither was submitting to a male. This time Selene turned frosted gold eyes onto him and notice the look of defeat at her don’t-fuck-with-me gaze. Two hundred years too early to be hit on by a youngster. The only way she was going to be a mate was to someone that can handle her and dominate her. Since she had a overbearing attitude and a dominant personality because of her upbringing, that narrowed the werewolf population by a lot. No male was going to waste their time with a female like her.
Nothing left but a core, she chucked it behind her and sighed. That was best tasting thing she had in a long time. Maybe it was a good thing that she left the mall. Glint shined at the corner of her eyes and she turned to see what it was. The sight of vendor with knives on display caught her attention. Weapons. Girl can’t have enough. She glided from the entrance to the vender, her eyes already planted on the one she wanted. The silver blade of the buck knife was gleamed at her as if it called for her to buy it. Selene shoved her long mane behind her shoulder and pointed to the blade. “That one!”
The vendor mentioned the price, but after a few moments of negotiating they agreed on a more reasonable price for the both of them and paid with a smile. “Pleasure doing business with you.” With a twirl of the knife in her hand, she further her journey down the lane of vendors to see what else would caught her attention.
